Banking: video analytics in a branch

Challenge

Branch cameras are fragmented, and their working condition is checked manually with site visits. Security and service analytics had to be tested on real infrastructure before deciding to scale.

Solution

MU Platform was deployed within the bank's perimeter on its own equipment:

  • VMS with a camera map and role-based access;
  • automatic video quality monitoring;
  • recognition of employees and VIP customers;
  • situational analytics: abandoned objects, perimeter, visitors;
  • a work discipline model fine-tuned on the customer's data.

Technologies

  • VMS
  • Computer vision
  • Face recognition
  • Model fine-tuning

Result

  • Operation on the bank's existing infrastructure is confirmed.
  • Requirements for full-scale deployment are based on real data, not assumptions.

Status

Pilot completed.

    Mining: conveyor belt monitoring

    Cameras and laser scanners above the belt detect surface and splice defects and pinpoint them on the belt. The belt is monitored continuously, with no stoppages for inspection.

    Chemicals: PPE, hazardous areas and behavior

    Analytics on existing cameras recognizes PPE, hazardous areas and behavior; night shifts are monitored on a par with day shifts.

    Exploration: AI core logging

    City: mobile street monitoring

    A unit on a service vehicle analyzes video on board and sends map-referenced events to a portal within the customer's perimeter.
